Lucile sent me the sweetest note from Grange.

Sun. March 9th, 1941

Dear Diary,

I went to church and came home and went to bed. I wrote 3 letters this afternoon. Annabel, Rev. Johns, and Glenadore. Lucile sent me the sweetest note from Grange. It had chromatic scales and remarks all over the outside. She also sent me a copy of the pictures that Wayne had sent in his letters to her, for me. These round-about ways of doing things!
