I must have too many brains.

Dear Diary,
An uneventful day. We went to school and that’s about all. I came home with a throbbing headache and still have it. I must have too many brains. I wonder.
Me.

Me.
My grandmother, Mary (Cady) Priddy (1924-2014), left behind her high school diary. It was primarily written during her senior year of high school, 1941, in Richburg, New York.
The diary covers everyday activities (family life, school, church, hanging out with friends) as well as Mary's high school romance, the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and hometown boys enlisting in the military after America's entry into World War II.
