Fri., March 27, 1941

Dear Diary,

Cuba festival today with mixed chorous. More fun. Then I stayed over and sang in sectional choir. I saw Leigh several times. He spoke, once. Fine thing.

About

My grandmother, Mary (Cady) Priddy (1924-2014), left behind her high school diary. It was primarily written during her senior year of high school, 1941, in Richburg, New York.

The diary covers everyday activities (family life, school, church, hanging out with friends) as well as Mary's high school romance, the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and hometown boys enlisting in the military after America's entry into World War II.
